TeamVision represents Lennard Kämna; 2015 German U23 hill climb and time trial champion as well as Junior world time trial champion of 2014.
In the U23 class he achieved the extraordinary: he won a World Championships time trial medal in his first year; and in 2016 he was European champion and finished fourth at the world championships in Qatar.
This exceptional talent from Fischerhude in the area Bremen used to ride for the German Professional Continental Team Stölting Service Group until the end of 2016. Beginning in January 2017, Lennard will move on to the WorldTeam Giant-Alpecin.
Lennard left his home city of Bremen at the tender age of 14 in order to enter the Cottbus Sport School’s talent factory and realize his dream of becoming a professional cyclist.
In 2014, in addition to his series of wins in time trials, he drew attention to his talent with top five results in every one of his international multi-day races.
All of these successes made him the most successful cyclist in his age group in the world in 2014. He won the time trial world championships with an especially big lead.
He dealt with the media hype that ensued in a both sovereign and professional way.
During his first U23 season, he won the German hill-climbing and time-trial championships.
Lennard’s strengths lie in these two disciplines; he seems predestined to have a future as a GC-rider.
